Daddy's other "Baby"

Yesterday as I was lying next to Daddy on the couch watching him, my "furry brother" Leo decided that he too needed "Daddy Time" and insisted on sitting on his lap. I don't mind the kitties but I think they are still getting used to me and my cries. It appears that Daddy is quite popular with the "boys" and they are making sure that he still pays attention to them even though I take up so much of his time. But, I love them anyway and can't wait for the day when I can pet them on my own (I'm sure I will be tempted to pull their tails though!)

Top Chef...or Not

So...Grandma McDonald gave me an outfit to wear and after the bath Mommy and Daddy dressed me complete with the little "beanie" hat. Well, not only did I feel that the hat was too tight on my head, but Daddy decided that I looked like Chef Boyardee and proceeded to give me a spoon to hold- something I obviously was not happy about.

Then, to complete the picture, they wrote out a recipe and placed it on my tummy:

Day Five- Friday...Bath Time!

Today was my first bath at home and even though Mommy and Daddy worked fast, I still didn't like the washcloth....



But when it was all finished I really liked my soft warm towel, and I especially loved being cuddled in Daddy's arms.



And then when it was all said and done, I relaxed and enjoyed the calm after the bath. I love to look around and observe everything around me!

Thursday March 26- 4 days old

Here I am on Thursday at 4 days old...I like to lay in my bassinet by the window and catch the daylight.

Not only do I like to hold the bottle when feeding, but I also like to hold my own pacifier...

And then of course, I like to fall asleep with Mommy on the couch (and Mommy likes to catch some zzz's as well!)

Day Three- March 25

Here I am at 3 days old at home and getting used to being in a larger environment than my cozy bassinet at the hospital...I'm learning to eat from a bigger bottle and I really like to hold it myself. I'm showing Mommy and Daddy that I am one independent girl with a temper! I wonder where I get that from....


And then after eating...I like to squish my face up against Mommy's!

Upon Arriving Home on Tuesday March 24...

We received quite the surprise when pulling up to the house after leaving the hospital on Tuesday March 24. Our friends had arranged for this birth announcement to be placed on our lawn- and we loved seeing it when turning the corner!

Two Days Old

Here I am at 2 days old in the hospital. Mommy says that I sleep alot but open my eyes when I hear my Daddy's voice. Everyone seems to think that I look like my Mommy when she was born-we have the same nose!

Her hair looks like she got highlights at the mall before being born.
